Now I remember that I lost my journal and lost my days. It was lunch
time at Todra Gorge not far from the Sahara desert. I had lost my
journal and the descriptions of days that had flown by—a kaleidoscope
of colors, scents, scenes, draped figures, mystery, red rocks and unending
pictures in my mind as well as many, many rolls of film.
I look back in wonder at our week in Morocco and all that we had
seen and all that we had experienced. The shadows of Morocco were a
play on persons as well as places.
